 About Us
Welcome to St Mary's Eagle Vale Soccer Club - the home of the mighty Saints!!

The Club is now in its 30th year in 2019 and has grown significantly in the last few years.

Local Football Club within the Macarthur Football Association.

St Mary's Eagle Vale Soccer was first established in 1989 for Students on the local St Mary’s Primary School (Now Mary Immaculate) at Eaglevale. The Club now has its own designated playing fields at Kooringa Reserve in Varroville which it moved to when these new Playing Fields were opened by Campbelltown Council in 2002. The Club is home to 50 or more teams and over 600 players each year from Under 6 through to All-Age and M-League, with strong representation both in Boys/Men’s and Girls/Ladies competitions. Despite its size the Club  has retained its friendly atmosphere and quality values, with the growth in recent years being testament to this.

Our motto, which is emphasised to all our teams is "PLAY WITH RESPECT AND EARN RESPECT" !
Tony Poulton Memorial Club Spirit Award

In Tony Poulton's memory, in his honour, and in recognition of the Spirit of St Marys that he showed so proudly, the Club has introduced, and dedicated a new award to Tony.

The Tony Poulton Memorial Club Spirit Award has been introduced to recognise someone who has consistently displays the qualties that Tony Poulton himself displayed:

 · Continually supporting the culture, ethics and morals of the Club over a number of years

· Displaying enthusiasm and energy in supporting the Club

· Working hard to find ways to better the Club

· Delivering high quality and ongoing support

· Being a proud member of the St Mary’s family

This award sits apart from the Club Person of the Year, which by definition, is for someone who has worked hard and has gone over and above to support the Club during the season.

The Club Spirit Award is to recognise ongoing support of the Club over a number of years whilst displaying the qualities mentioned above.

Sad Passing of Tony Poulton

It is with great sorrow that we pass on the news that our dear friend, and a great friend of the St Mary’s Eagle Vale Family, has sadly passed away.

Tony Poulton, Life Member of St Mary’s Eagle Vale Soccer Club, and perhaps the heart and soul of this great Club, passed away on Friday 28 July 2017 after a relatively short battle with illness. It goes without saying that he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his two sons, his wife and his family.

Tony joined our Club over 12 years ago as a player and a Coach. He was good at both, and played his last season with the O45s in 2016 (ok so 2016 wasn't his finest year on the park, and he got a lot of practice pulling the ball out of the back of the net, but he never gave up, and always gave his best - just like in life).

We were fortunate to have him join the Committee over 10 years ago, and what a committee person he was! No-one will ever know the volume of work he put into the Club. Sure we all saw Tony fixing the grounds, putting together gear and equipment, doing his Club Secretary duties with aplomb, dragging bins around the field, and working hard on ensuring that all the behind the scenes paperwork and planning was always exemplentary. What a lot of people didn't see was his love of the Club, and the hours and hours he spent at the Club just to ensure that we were presented in the greatest light. He was honoured with Life Membership 4 years ago - a very fitting and apt recognition of his work.

He was a friend to all who met him, and the greatest friend to us.

We will miss you Tony, our friend.

Thank You

Tony's family would like to pass on their appreciation to everyone at St Mary's Eagle Vale Soccer Club, all Clubs within the Macarthur District Football Association, the MFA Directors and staff, Macarthur Referees, and past team-mates of Tony who passed on their kind thoughts, prayers and actions since Tony's passing.

The Club too would like to thank all the aforementioned people. Your support of Tony, his family, and the St Mary's Eagle Vale Club following Tony's sad passing is greatly appreciated.

The funeral was one of the largest attended, which is a testament to Tony, and the great friendships he developed, and the many lives he touched during his all too short life. Our friend will be missed, but never forgotten, and his legacy will forever be remembered.
